Day 01 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora
Departing from your accommodation, we embark on an extraordinary journey to Morocco’s Great South. Our first destination is the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, one of North Africa’s most iconic and impeccably preserved landmarks, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historic fortress, featured in renowned films such as *Lawrence of Arabia*, *Gladiator*, and *Kingdom of Heaven*, offers an authentic glimpse into the lives of its past inhabitants. We then proceed to Ouarzazate, the “City of Silence,” set atop a vast plateau and celebrated as the Hollywood of Africa. Formerly a military outpost, it now serves as the administrative capital of the Drâa Valley, where we will visit the impressive Kasbah Taourirt. Continuing through Ait Saoun, we cross the Tizi-N-Tinifft pass at 1,660 meters, tracing the Drâa Valley’s lush palm groves that stretch for over 200 kilometers, once traversed by caravans from Central Africa. Our journey concludes in Zagora, near the desert, famed for its sign reading: “Timbuktu 52 days.” Dinner and breakfast will be provided at your accommodation.

Day 02 : Zagora – Rally track Paris Dakar – Desert of Ouzina
Today’s adventure takes us along a legendary stretch once part of the Paris Dakar Rally. We’ll cross the vast desert landscapes of the Draa Valley and its sweeping plateaus, passing numerous Berber villages along the route. The day wraps up in the Ouzina Desert, where we can watch a stunning sunset from the great dune before walking to the Riad for dinner and a peaceful evening.

Day 03 : Ouzina – Erg Ouzina – Ouzina village – nomad culture in the Sahara
For the early risers, we suggest watching the sunrise between the dunes. After breakfast, we’ll head to the village of Ouzina to learn about the lifestyle of its inhabitants, visit the bread oven and explore the orchards. We’ll enjoy some “Berber pizza,” and those interested can get a henna tattoo. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the fossil mines before returning to the Ouzina desert in search of an authentic nomadic family, share tea with them, have dinner, and spend the night at the Riad.

Day 04 : Ouzina Desert – Khamlia – Merzouga Desert
Our journey along the Dakar track will lead us back to the asphalt until we arrive at Khamlia, also known as “the black village of Mali,” where we’ll pause to enjoy the African percussion rhythms of the spiritual Gnawa music. From there, we’ll head to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, swapping our vehicle for camels to take in the sunset before spending the night among the dunes, with dinner and an overnight stay in a Berber tent camp.

Day 05 : Merzouga Desert – Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra River Gorge and Dades River Gorge
After breakfast, we ride the camels back to the vehicle and head to the city of Rissani. There, we stroll through the economic capital of southern Morocco, exploring its vibrant, colorful souk. Then we continue towards the Todra River Gorge, a breathtaking valley with rock walls towering 150 meters high, where a walk is truly worthwhile.

Day 06 : Dades Valley – Thousand Kasbahs Route – Marrakech
In the morning, we’ll explore the Dades Valley before following the Thousand Kasbahs route, stopping at places like Kasbah Itrane and Kasbah Amridil. Afterward, we’ll make our way back through the Tichka Pass to Marrakech. As dusk falls, it’s the perfect moment to head up to one of the panoramic terraces in Plaza de Jmaa el Fna and soak in the vibrant scene of tightrope walkers, snake charmers, storytellers, and a fascinating mix of people. It’s all part of an exciting seven-day journey from Ouarzazate to the desert on a 4x4 tour of Morocco.

- If cancellations are made within 0 to 7 days before the travel date, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
