Day 1 : Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Agdez - Zagora
After breakfast at your Marrakech hotel, set off toward Zagora, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains at 2,260 meters. Continue to the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a traditional pre-Saharan village made up of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls and corner towers. These tightly packed homes have stood for centuries, earning UNESCO World Heritage status in 1987 and serving as the backdrop for many films. After lunch, head toward Zagora via the scenic Aguz, nestled between the Mnatanis and Daraa rivers. Upon arrival, hop on a private dromedary to catch the sunset before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay under the stars in a tent.
